Lettuce Mixed Green Leaves Salad Seeds - Lactuca Sativa
Lettuce has many impressive health benefits and is loaded with vitamin A. This delicious mix of 6 different green leaved varieties creates a ‘new’ salad mix every pick. An easy and quick to grow essential addition to add flavour and texture to any salad dish.
SOW & GROW
Sow seeds thinly in 25 cm pots with drainage holes or directly into well prepared, moist soil 1.5 cm deep. Allow 15 cm between rows. Seedlings usually appear between 7-14 days.
Sow/Plant Outside: March - August; Flowers/Harvest: April - October
TIPS
- Sow new seeds every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply
- Cut regularly and the plants will regrow up to 4 cuts
- Baby leaves can be harvested between April-October
- Whole plants can be harvested from May
- Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection
